3P Direct Ltd (The Print & Packaging People) is one of the largest print and packaging companies in Nottinghamshire.  From our Mansfield based Head Office, we provide over 10,000 print and packaging related products and deliver daily to local industry via our own lorries. We also operate three national ecommerce sites: UKPrinting.com, UKPackaging.com and BoutiqueGifts.com. Account Manager – UKPrinting.com

UKPrinting.com supplies digital and litho printed products such as leaflets, brochures and direct mail. We also supply promotional products such as printed mugs, printed carrier bags, engraved pens and water bottles. Following our recent warehouse extension, many of these products are now manufactured inhouse at our Mansfield site and we’ve seen considerable growth since the pandemic. Customers include many leading retail and ecommerce brands, the leisure sector, schools, exhibitions and the NHS.

We now have a position for an Account Manager working in a team of seven people.  UKPrinting receives hundreds of incoming sales enquiries every week and when a new customer orders for the first time they are allocated to an Account Manager.  Their role is to initially convert the enquiry into an order and then manage the production of that order from receipt of artwork, all the way through to final product delivery and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with new sales enquiries and providing quotations.
  • Raising work orders for both internal and external production.
  • Utilise our inhouse resource source including photography, design, storage and distribution.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and secure the best possible buying prices for our customers and lead times.
  • Cross sell Group services and build strong relationships with existing customers.
  • A confident telephone manner, organised nature and admin skills.
  • Competent IT skills are essential.

Experience

  • This position is ideally suited for someone who has previous experience working in a printing environment or in the promotional products industry.
  • We have five Account Mangers and two support staff. It’s a successful and motivated team. The position tends to suit someone who has a commercial mind with the ability to juggle several jobs at different stages of production. As it’s a combination of dealing with new customer enquiries and live jobs it requires someone that understands production processes and can think on their feet. It is always very busy but we pay a quarterly commission on every order you look after so it’s also very rewarding!

£30k Starting Package (Includes quarterly bonus)

Senior Sales Executive – 3P Direct Ltd

Working with the external Sales Manager and Director, this is a senior internal sales position responsible for developing Group sales in our Northern Sales Area.  This new and exciting role will target mostly large packaging accounts, particularly corrugated sales north of Junction 28 of the M1. This person will also be tasked with promoting and coordinating any enquiries internally relating to all of 3P Direct’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying large users of packaging materials, local accounts with potential, the buyer’s details and key decision makers.
  • Proactively generate enquiries and orders for the Northern Sales area.
  • Obtain best cost prices and lead times from external suppliers.
  • Processing sales orders received via email or telephone and keeping customers informed of delivery dates.
  • Raising purchase orders to suppliers for any non-stock bespoke stock items.

Experience

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the packaging industry.
  • A confident telephone manner, organised nature with commercial mindset.
  • A demonstrated ability to prospect and develop relationships with customers.
  • Competent IT skills are essential. Experience using Sage Accounts is preferred but not essential.

£30k+ Starting Salary (Includes quarterly bonus)
